As we wrap things up for 2014 here at London Cyclist HQ and get ready for mince pies and long naps in-front of Christmas TV, we’d like to take a look back at our 5 most popular articles in 2014.
Our in-depth guide to GPS on Android and iPhone devices became the third most visited article on our site in 2014, which goes to show the growing popularity of smartphones and how cyclists are increasingly looking towards using some of their most useful features.
Ribble, Boardman and Planet X featured in our carbon road bike roundup and clearly it was a popular search for people as it received the second highest number of visitors out of all the articles we’ve written in 2014.
Security is ever on the mind of London cyclists and our helpful roundup of three of the best options received plenty of attention. We took a look at locks that suited all three of the different ratings – from Gold to Bronze.
Michelle’s roundup had all of us bobbing our heads in agreement at some of the moments we’ve felt during our day to day cycling adventures. The readers comments also gave me a big smile. There were some fantastic suggestions in there and I couldn’t help but laugh while reading them. The post is a great reminder that we all share these experiences together.
Another great post by Michelle is this guide to preventing your bicycle saddle from being stolen. She covered all the options available from DIY solutions to security products by bicycle manufacturers. The post has so far been read by 7,902 people.
We look forward to sharing plenty more great posts with you in 2015! Merry Christmas from everyone here at London Cyclist 🙂
