London through the eyes of a cycle courier

A recent Tumblr blog I’ve been acquainted to is Man With A Moving Camera. It is curated by James who takes pictures of his discoveries around London during his travels as a bicycle courier.

I find London to be an infinitely interesting city and I still stumble across things such as The Giant Plug. The Man With A Moving Camera blog has many such interesting sights and I’m quite a fan of the fact an SLR camera isn’t being used to take the pictures. I’ve picked out a few of my favourites below:

Brilliant! He’s got a picture of a chap sitting on some boats designed to be benches. I saw those recently on a SafeCycle lesson (http://meetup.com/safecylce). Thanks for the link, I’ll be watching!

Great….but surely not a “pushbike”? you only push ‘em when you can’t ride ‘em!

Ah the innocence of youth. As a veteran cyclist I remember pedal cycles were always called push bikes to differentiate them from motorised bikes. I still call mine a “push bike” some fifty years later !

Brilliant site, really love the photos. It has inspired me to keep a camera handy for when I am in the saddle.
