Congratulations on your Bicycle Touring Pro website – its the most comprehensive, entertaining and informative cycling site I’ve ever seen. Great stuff!

However, there have been a couple of problems with access.the I’ve tried to download the free e-book “Cycling In London, England” several times with no success. There’s been no reply to the e-mail I sent asking for help to get the book, nor have I seen the promised free article giving advice on bicycle touring.

If the above promised articles are as good as the site, then I’m really missing out on valuable information. Help!

This book contains some great cycle routes around London. We’ve tried four of them now and enjoyed them all. The routes seem to be very well chosen — they are mostly on quiet roads and interesting back streets that you wouldn’t otherwise find, with some interesting sights and hidden gems along the way. I found that when you depart from the route in the book for any reason you encounter more traffic, so the author clearly gone to a great deal of effort to find the most cycle friendly route.

I think you have done an amazing job. So much information to take in. there are a few spelling and grammatical mistakes. but we can let you off on those.

You mentioned on the first page you may look for a designer for the revised editions. I wouldn’t mind giving a hand on this. I’m pretty handy on InDesign.

Thanks for all the hard work in the guide, it is really good and shall definitely do one of the rides.

Just as a matter of interest, is the ‘Scootering’ trick legal? I always thought it was but was stopped by a Policeman in St James Park a few weeks ago, who said it still constituted riding.

Great guides. Especially impressed with the Guide to Cycling in London. It really is useful whatever city you live in, and I’m looking forward to trying out some of those routes when I’m next in the capital.
